Cherry Creek School District Selects Schoology LMS, Cites Integration with PowerSchool and Third-party Resources

Easier Content Management and Administration for Teachers Drives Improved Outcomes for Students

DENVER, Colo. – February 3, 2014—Cherry Creek School District in Colorado recently purchased Schoology for every school in the district and now its 3,700 teachers and their students are better connected and working together in collaborative learning, curriculum development and course management. The district cited many reasons for selecting Schoology as its learning management system (LMS) including its integration with PowerSchool ®, the fastest-growing, most widely used student information system (SIS).

“Schoology met a number of our needs for improved communication and collaboration, but the management features and tie in to PowerSchool were very important for our district,” said Kellie Ady, coordinator of instructional technology at Cherry Creek School District. “Schoology allows us to cleanly and easily share content and data between multiple systems. We can do tasks we never could before, like automatically grab enrollment data and share that with our PowerSchool SIS.”
